Company history for the year 1911 - 21st anniversary of the 3rd Enfield

George Spicer, a great supporter of the Enfield Companies, passes away.

Wednesday 12th April
The Company receives a letter from Sir William A Smith, founder of The Boys' Brigade, congratulating them on their 21st anniversary, and apologising for not being able to attend the Display.

The Company wins the Daily Telegraph Shield in the Royal Albert Hall. Result: 1st - 3rd Enfield (497), 2nd - 21st London (494).

Wednesday 24th May
On Empire Day, the 3rd Enfield holds its annual inspection in the Drill Hall. The Company celebrates its 21st anniversary. Mr Norris Toms, the founder of the Company, was present. Captain Plowman was presented with a gold watch and a roll top desk as a token of recognition for his hard work for the Company. The Company was given a billiard table for the event.

Saturday 5th August to Saturday 12th August
The Summer Camp takes place at Dymchurch.

3rd Enfield Annual Awards

The Coronavirus pandemic meant that we weren't able to hold our Awards Evening in May, so instead we undertook a series of socially distanced awards deliveries to finish the session in July.

Company Section Weekend Away

From Friday 13th to Sunday 15th March members of Company Section and Seniors from across North London travelled to Lambourne End Outdoor Centre, near Chigwell in Essex for a Weekend Away.
