Mr A L Winsley takes on the position of 3rd Enfield Captain.


Thursday 1st January
Captain Thomas Room Plowman dies suddenly at the age of 44, after being taken seriously ill with congestion of the lungs. He passes away at 7:45am on the morning of New Year's Day.

Thomas Plowman's funeral takes place at Christ Church.

Sunday 11th January
Thomas Plowman's Memorial Service takes place at Bush Hill Park Congregational Church. The address is made by Sir Arthur K Yapp.

The Royal Albert Hall Display: The 3rd Enfield loses in the final of the Daily Telegraph Shield competition to the 83rd London. The 83rd London gets 153 points to the 3rd Enfield's 150 points.

Enfield Battalion Church Parade and Explore activity afternoon

On Sunday 24th March the annual Enfield Battalion Church Parade took place at Ponders End United Reformed Church (12th Enfield HQ), followed by an Explore activity afternoon for all age groups.
