Company history for the year 1924

Tuesday 26th February
The 3rd Enfield wins the Gymnastics Cup with the team of Cpl F Rippingale, Gritty, Pte Pinner and Pte Burton. The venue is the headquarters of the 8th Enfield. Result: 1st - 3rd Enfield (172 1/2), 2nd - 1st and 2nd Enfield (170).

Wednesday 19th March
The Battalion Drill competition takes place. Result: 1st - 1st Enfield (170), 2nd - 3rd Enfield (166), 3rd - 2nd Enfield (124), 4th - 6th Enfield (120).

The Company wins the Distin Cup for football.

Thursday 1st May
The 1st Enfield wins the Daily Telegraph Shield for the first time at the Royal Albert Hall Display. The 1st beats the 76th London by 226 marks to 195 marks in the final.

Monday 9th June
The 3rd Enfield wins the Sports Cup at the Whit Monday Inspection and Sports by the large margin of 21 points. The event attracts a crowd of 7000.

Saturday 2nd August to Sunday 10th August
The Enfield Battalion Camp takes place at Clacton. The 3rd wins the Inter-Company Football Shield.

Summer Camp 2018 in Norfolk

From Saturday 18th to Friday 24th August a group of young people and leaders from the 3rd and 10th Enfield travelled to Beeston Regis in Norfolk for our Summer Camp.

Summer Programme

Over the last few weeks of term our Summer Programme took place on Monday evenings, where we were able to take advantage of the longer evenings and better weather to go out and about and do some different activities.

Junior Section Weekend Camp

From Friday 6th to Sunday 8th July members of Enfield and Inner North London Battalions came together for a Junior Section Weekend Camp at Felden Lodge.
