During 1987

London competition results 1986/87.

Thursday 12th February
Steven Wakeford wins the London District Solo Bugler championship.

Saturday 4th April
The Company is runner up in the Devonshire Cup.

Wednesday 8th April
The 1st and 3rd Enfield win the Daily Telegraph Shield for the third year in a row. Waltham Forest and Sutton Battalions are second and third respectively.

Saturday 11th April
At the Company Display, Rachel Wakeford and Andrew Mason become the first winners of the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award from the 3rd Enfield.

Saturday 9th May
The very last Royal Albert Hall Display takes place. The 1st and the 3rd Enfield again provide the Guard of Honour, the Colour Party and give a drill demonstration.

Saturday 30th May
The London District Bugle Band performs at Wembley Stadium.

The Company wins the London District 11-a-side Cricket competition.

Summer Camp takes place in Northrepps (Overstrand), Norfolk.

Enfield Battalion Church Parade and Explore activity afternoon

On Sunday 24th March the annual Enfield Battalion Church Parade took place at Ponders End United Reformed Church (12th Enfield HQ), followed by an Explore activity afternoon for all age groups.
