Company history for the year 2003

Mr Don McLaren decides to leave the post of Brigade Secretary.

Sunday 23rd March
The Battalion Church Parade, including members of all Companies in Enfield, takes place at St John Methodist Church, home of the 16th Enfield Company.

Saturday 5th April
For the first time in nearly a decade, the 3rd Enfield returns to the London District competitions arena to join with the 1st Enfield in entering a joint Band into the London District Band competitions, including the Devonshire Cup.

Saturday 17th May to Sunday 18th May
The Company enters two teams in the national Waltham Walk competition. The boys team (Rob Gardner, Tom Killey, Michael Harnett and Tom Boorman) comes third in the main event, whilst the Officers team (Kevin Cowan and Stuart Bachelor) comes fifth in the Veterans event.

Saturday 9th August to Saturday 16th August
For the third year running, the 3rd Enfield joins the 10th Enfield for their Summer Camp in Dyffryn, Wales. L/Cpl Rob Gardner is the 3rd Enfield's sole representative on the Camp.

The team of Rob Gardner, Tom Killey, Tom Winfield, Tom Boorman and Christopher Sanders wins the Enfield Battalion Quiz competition.

Sunday 9th November
The Enfield Battalion Remembrance Sunday Parade, including the traditional service on Chase Green with other organisations, takes place.

Zoom Quiz Night

Christmas at the 3rd

Following the November lockdown we were able to meet face-to-face once again on Monday 7th December, which was also our final meeting of 2020.

Despite the unusual circumstances, we were able to get involved in Remembrance activities to commemorate those who gave their lives in conflict.
