A new museum dedicated to the history of the Middlesex Regiment is opened at the Royal British Legion in Holtwhites Hill. Two 3rd Enfield boys, Robert Wyer and Robert Mammen, form a guard of honour at the opening of the museum. Robert Wyer and Jonathan Arnold then perform the same duty during the visit of Michael Portillo MP. The event is covered on TV and the 3rd Enfield boys could be seen.
