On Saturday 2nd July we took part in the Enfield Battalion Athletics & Sports competition at Lee Valley Athletics Centre.
The event was open to all age groups, with a variety of track and field events for everyone to take part in. Congratulations to our individual event winners – Oliver (Y2 Egg & Spoon, Bean Bag Shot, Turbo Jav), Chijioke (Y4 100 metres, Discus), Lillyan (Y4 Cricket Ball Throw), Nathan (Y4 Javelin), Alfie (Y5 Long Jump) and Petros (Y5 Javelin) – and a big well done to all of our boys as we came seventh (Anchors), third (Juniors) and fourth (Overall).
Well done also to the competition winners – 2nd Enfield (Anchors) and 133rd London (Juniors, Company & Seniors and Overall) – and thank you to the organisers for all they did to make the event happen.
