From Friday 26th to Monday 29th May a group from our Company and Seniors age groups travelled to Felden Lodge for Unite, a national camp bringing together around 150 young people and leaders from across England and Wales.
A variety of activities took place, including football, tag rugby, wide games, canoeing/paddleboarding, camp workouts, Unite Get Me Out of Here!, a Felden Fair, Zorb football, a campfire, a silent disco, Minute to Win It, Unite’s take on The Wheel and lots more.
There were times of worship which brought everyone together in the Marquee, giving us the opportunity to hear from Rob McNerney, Gemma Milligan (both from Youthscape), Aaron Routledge (Message Trust) and Rev Stewart Cutler (Chaplain of The Boys’ Brigade UK & RoI).
Every group that attends Unite is part of a camping village (Blue, Red or Yellow) and the villages compete against each other throughout the weekend to earn points and try to be the winning one. This year we were placed in the Blue village, which we are delighted ended up being the winning one!
