On Mondays 4th and 11th March members of our Company and Seniors age groups took on our 2024 MasterChef Challenge!
The challenge was split over two weeks, with the first week containing some time to plan their dish. This included thinking about what they wanted to make, what ingredients they would need and how they would do it.
On the second week they had to actually prepare their chosen dish to be judged by Ruth, our Chaplain, and Tina, one of our leaders.
The boys could choose to prepare either a main course or dessert, working individually or in pairs. They were scored in five areas – skill, presentation, taste, completing in the set time and clearing up after themselves.
Once again there was an impressively high standard of dishes which gave the judges a hard time choosing a winner. Well done to everyone who took part and congratulations our winners, who were announced at our meeting on 18th March – Tyla, whose chicken burger was chosen as Best Main Course, and Sunny, whose cookies took the prize for Best Dessert!
