On Sunday 1st December it was fantastic to join with 70+ children, young people and leaders from across Enfield Battalion for the annual Enfield Christmas Parade of Light.
Before doing so, members of Anchors and Juniors enjoyed a trip to KB02 in Palmers Green, spending some time in the soft play area and games room as well as having some lunch.
Afterwards, we headed to Enfield Town for the Parade of Light where the Company and Seniors lads joined the group. The event includes lots of community groups and organisations, and took in a loop of Enfield, starting by the Civic Centre and including Baker Street, Lancaster Road, Chase Side, Church Street and Silver Street.
Enfield Battalion’s “Christmas Wonderland” float included lots of Christmas-themed inflatables and festive music, and the group of children, young people and leaders made their way around with lights, glow sticks and more to make for a very eye catching display!
