On Sunday 30th November it was great to join with 70+ children, young people and leaders from across Enfield Battalion for the annual Enfield Christmas Parade of Light.
To begin the day, our Anchors and Juniors enjoyed a trip to KB02 in Palmers Green, spending some time in the soft play area and games room as well as having lunch.
Following that, we travelled up to Enfield Town for the Parade of Light which brought together members of all of our age groups. The parade includes lots of community groups and organisations, with the route consisting of a loop of Enfield, starting by the Civic Centre and including Baker Street, Lancaster Road, Chase Side, Church Street and Silver Street.
Enfield Battalion’s “Christmas Winter Wonderland” float included lots of Christmas-themed inflatables and festive music, and the group of children, young people and leaders made their way around with lights, glow sticks and more to make for a very bright and colourful display!
