The 3rd Enfield wins the Battalion Swimming Shield at Southgate Swimming Pool. The Junior boys (James Howard, David Arnold, David Tozer and Adam Arnold) perform exceptionally well and win the Junior event overall. All boys are in a winning race, including the relay, breast stroke (James Howard) and freestyle (David Arnold). David Spence wins the Senior backstroke and Jonathan Arnold wins the Intermediate freestyle.
