On Sunday 9th November we joined with others from across Enfield Battalion as well as other organisations, local dignitaries and members of the public for the Enfield Service of Remembrance at the War Memorial on Chase Green.
Joe, one of our Seniors, laid a wreath on behalf of Enfield Battalion during the service, and afterwards we were part of the parade through Enfield Town.
The following day our boys took part in Remembrance activities at our Monday meeting, reflecting on the reason for the commemorations and honouring those from our own BB family at the 3rd who gave their lives in conflict, as well as thinking about Jesus’ ultimate act of love in dying on the cross for us all.
