Members of the 3rd Enfield came together with other BB groups, the local community and the nation to remember all those who gave so much to protect our freedom.
On Monday 8th November our programme was themed around Remembrance, thinking about what it is and why it is important to remember. Members of our Anchors and Juniors age groups also got creative by creating some poppy artwork which was displayed in the church for the Remembrance Sunday service.
On Remembrance Sunday, 14th November, we took part in the Service of Remembrance at Enfield War Memorial. The ongoing pandemic meant that the event was again different to normal, with no parade taking place this year. The service included the sounding of the Last Post followed by a two minute silence and the laying of wreaths, and was attended by members of various uniformed organisations, local dignitaries and members of the public.
