On Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May three of our Seniors (Joe K, Max and Tyla) took part in the Main Event of the Waltham Walk, a challenge expedition in the Essex countryside.
The event sees teams navigate between a series of checkpoints, taking on team challenges at each one and having to set up camp and cook for themselves.
The Main Event category is for those aged 14-18, with teams having to walk around 25 miles across the two days and be self-sufficient by carrying everything they need for the weekend.
Our lads did absolutely brilliantly all weekend and won the Main Event, the first time in the 55-year history of the category that a 3rd Enfield team has done so. A huge well done to them all!
