A combined 1st and 3rd Enfield Bugle Band performs outside the old cinema in Southbury Road. The performance is to promote the BB film “First for Boys” campaign, which is being shown at the Saturday morning children’s show at the cinema. The event is considered unsuccessful: no recruits and when the band go on stage the children in the audience just throw sweets as the band tries to play!
