It was great for our boys to be able to get involved in activities and events to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.
On Saturday 6th May it was an honour for some of our boys to be able to join with others from across the Brigade to watch the Coronation Procession in person from a dedicated viewing area for uniformed youth organisations on The Mall by Admiralty Arch.
Following the procession, the organisations led the walk down The Mall where we were able to see the Royal Family’s balcony appearance and the flypast from right outside the gates of Buckingham Palace.
Despite the weather it was certainly a memorable occasion for all involved!
The following Monday, 8th May, we continued to celebrate the Coronation by holding a party for the boys and their families in the hall. A fun evening of food, drink, games and themed activities was had by all!
