Over the weekend of 16th & 17th May our Company lads took part in the Waltham Walk, a challenge expedition in the Essex countryside!
Starting off at Boreham Village Hall on the Saturday morning, they navigated their way through an 11-mile route taking them between six checkpoints each with a team challenge to have a go at, before arriving at the campsite at Essex Outdoors Danbury where they had to set up their tents, cook dinner and get some rest.
On the Sunday morning they cooked breakfast and packed away before setting off for the day, taking on another 7 miles and four checkpoints with team challenges, before reaching the finish at Keene Hall in Galleywood.
Our team was in the Mini Trek category, and they did brilliantly as a team of complete newcomers to the event, working well together and coming in 5th place overall. Well done to David, Lillyan, William and Zaydan!
