Top Golf competition

Added 7th November 2017 by Tom Boorman

On Saturday 4th November, the Top Golf competition took place at Top Golf Chigwell.

This was a new competition this session and was open to Juniors, Company Section and Seniors. Over 40 young people from Enfield and Inner North London Battalions took part. Top Golf is a game where players score points by hitting micro-chipped golf balls at giant dartboard-like targets on an outfield, with more points scored by hitting the ball further or closer to the centre of the holes.

Everyone got the chance to play two games each, with their scores counting towards an individual competition in each age group and the top three scorers from each Company in each age group counting towards a team competition.

After a fun morning the 3rd Enfield's Juniors were the team winners in their competition, with Daniel from the 3rd also winning the individual competition. Well done boys!

Our Company Section team came third, with that competition being won by the 10th Enfield, and our Seniors came second to the 11th Enfield in their age group.
