North London Zone Hare & Hounds fun race

On Saturday 30th March the Hare & Hounds fun race took place at Grovelands Park in Winchmore Hill.

The event took place on a lovely sunny day and was open to members of all age groups. The Anchors took part in a short race across the field, through part of the forest area (including going across a water obstacle) and back up the hill to the finish line. The Juniors carried on through a little more of the forest area before heading up the hill. The Company Section and Seniors did the same route as the younger members to begin with, before running around the outside of the lake and back across to the finish line.

Following the race there were some activities to take part in whilst waiting for the results, including parachute games, cricket and football.

The team winners were 10th Enfield (Anchors), 1st Enfield (Juniors) and 10th Enfield (Company Section and Seniors).

Teams from the 3rd Enfield took part in all of the age groups, coming second (Anchors), third (Juniors) and second (Company Section and Seniors. A particular well done to Zaydan, William, Joshua and Frankie who finished in the top three individuals in their age groups, and of course to everyone else who took part!
